In the 350, the idle was now down to about 900 to 1000 rpm. Still pretty choppy, but acceptable and drivable on the street with a 4-speed. http://www.iskycams.com/

Witryna19 lip 2024 · It was the 1007B. I wish I could report the performance, but I won't have the truck running until next summer. I don't have my cam spec card at the moment ( put away for safe keeping) , but duration is slightly more than stock Merc and lift is around .350" . I'd go with Pete's call. A 068, summit 2801 like I recommended in your earlier thread, 744 (manual trans ra III cam) , or even a Crower 60916 (with enough compression) are all proven good cams in street driven 400's .
Witryna20 maj 2006 · Assuming that it mirrors that cam, it's works best with a manual trans, high 3 or low 4 series gears, mild lope at idle (which usually means low vacuum at idle), and a mid rpm range cam. IMHO, barely streetable cam. Sounds nice with the lope but low vacuum = lousey power brakes at idle. The Isky 280 is a heap big jump in performance.
