WebMar 14, 2024 · Half my RAM is hardware reserved. Recently, I added 4GB of RAM to my computer, bringing it up to 8GB. However, it appears that all this has done is increase the Hardware Reserved Memory to 4.3GB. In other words, I am getting absolutely no benefit from the additional RAM. -- Done a repair reinstall of Windows 10 (not a full reinstall) WebFeb 2, 2024 · Follow these instructions to check if RAM modules are installed right. Consult your motherboard manual. Unplug the power cable and take off the CPU cover case. Follow the instructions of your manual to check if the RAM modules are installed in the right way.
