WebChildren's Shelter of Cebu operates four homes for 90-95 abandoned, neglected and abused children in Cebu City, Philippines. CSC is about restoring lives. We've been doing so since 1979 by ministering to each child holistically. We provide food, shelter and medicine, but also schooling, counseling and relationships that foster healing. WebSince 1975, Children\u0027s Hunger Relief Fund (CHRF) has responded to children\u0027s immediate physical, emotional, and spiritual needs following drought, earthquakes, hurricanes, war, and other disasters.

Such a Refuge: A History of the Children

The Shelter cares for 70-80 children. The children range in age from birth to teenagers. They live in the homes until they are adopted or reunited with their parents. About 20% of the children have special needs, including cerebral palsy, blindness, brain damage and malnutrition. The children come from various backgrounds.
